Sooz is a blogger whose mom's 80th birthday is coming up, on October 3. She's trying to surprise her mom with 80 cards from 80 bloggers. Here's my contribution to the cause.



This is what the inside looks like.

To make this card, I first stamped white cardstock with stamps from Close To My Heart® (Funky Graffiti and Celebrations - Solid). I then cut out a window, and made the "frame* from red and yellow cardstock, and attached them with eyelets. I then cut out two more pieces of red and yellow cardstock, and stamped the yellow one with "The cat's out of the bag..." stamp (Repeat Impressions). I then glued these to the card and used a couple more eyelets.

For the inside, I stamped it with the same stamps as the front, and added the "Happy Birthday" stamp to the bottom (Close To My Heart®, Cheerful Thoughts). I stamped the cats, Missy and Bandit (Hot Potatoes), onto another piece of white cardstock, and colored in Missy with a yellow colored pencil. I then trillmed the picture, mattied it onto a few more pieces of yellow and red cardstock, and attched this to the inside of the card. so that the cats' faces lined up with the window.

Stamp pad ink and eyelets are also from Close To My Heart®.
